Hi!
I'm April, I believe photography should feel genuine and meaningful. What I love most about photographing people is creating images that feel true to the life you are living, not overly posed or forced, but natural and connected.
When I look at a photograph of my oldest son as a newborn, I am immediately taken back to that time in my life. I remember the details, the emotions, and the love that surrounded us in those early days. That ability to pause time and hold onto what matters most is what photography means to me, and it is the experience I want to create for the families and couples I work with.
Photography is not something I picked up casually. From the first time I held a camera, I knew this was what I was meant to do. Over the years, I have built my business with intention, care, and deep gratitude for the people who trust me to document their lives.

I bring more than 15 years of experience, a calm presence, and a thoughtful approach to every session and wedding. From planning to delivery, I am intentional with how I work so you can feel confident and relaxed throughout the process. My goal is for you to enjoy the experience as much as the photographs themselves.
A Peek Into My Life
MY FAMILY
I am blessed with two sons who keep life full, loud, and meaningful in the best ways. My oldest is 20 and recently engaged to be married, which has been such a sweet and emotional season to witness as a mom. Watching him step into this next chapter has been both joyful and bittersweet.
My youngest is 5 and has the biggest imagination. He loves to draw and create, proudly sharing his artwork and reminding us all to slow down and see the world with a little more wonder. Justin is the love of my life and the steady support behind everything I do. As a family, we love the outdoors and value time together above all else.

Amazing Experience!
"Taking beautiful pictures of families with young babies is hard, and April nailed it. We had a typical "family photo fiasco" that day and were late to arrive, had forgotten our diaper bag, needed to feed our newborn mid-session, and had a grumpy toddler ready for a nap. Somehow, April still managed to be so patient with us and captured several fantastic pictures of our family and newborn! We will be forever grateful for these precious family treasures."
